This home arrived with a bit of an identity mismatch—colonial on the exterior, contemporary within, and marked by a bold, outdated palette. For this family of five, we reimagined the first floor with a cohesive transitional approach, balancing warm and cool neutrals while introducing rich texture, refined molding details, and a striking dining room backdrop to highlight artwork from their Italian travels. The result is a home that feels unified, elevated, and truly their own.
