In this center hall colonial, a blank room traditionally destined to be an office became something far more personal. Our client envisioned a serene library, a space for quiet reading, meaningful conversation, and hosting book club with friends. We drenched the room in a meditative blue, creating an enveloping, cocoon-like atmosphere from floor to ceiling. Custom built-in shelving was designed around a sumptuous velvet sofa, striking the balance between library and living room. Small details elevate the space further: a coordinating chair print and custom piping echo the sofa's palette, tying the room together with quiet, intentional sophistication. The result is a room that feels both curated and lived-in: a peaceful escape for solo reading and a warm, inviting space for gathering.

A faded grasscloth wallpaper and cottagey shiplap gave way to an elegant dining room built for entertaining. We designed the space around a crisp blue and white palette, anchored by a watercolor lotus wallpaper that brings a serene feel to the room. The original wainscoting is reimagined as a supportive backdrop for the wallpaper, grounding the space in quiet, classic structure.

This primary bedroom presented a singular challenge: an angled wall that made centering the bed difficult. Rather than fight the architecture, we leaned into it, wrapping the angle in a quiet, small-print wallpaper that turns the irregularity into an interesting feature, softening the wall and blurring its lines. The bed now sits comfortably in the space, no longer at odds with the room's geometry. A palette of soft blues and calm neutrals carries through from the wallpaper into the millwork and furnishings, unifying the room into a true sanctuary. Custom pillows add a final layer of thoughtful detail, making this primary suite feel distinct.
