An empty nester couple in Concord set out to update their circa-2000 colonial kitchen to appeal to future buyers, but the project quickly evolved beyond a simple refresh. We reworked the layout entirely—removing dated details and designing a more functional, expansive space with two stunning islands, custom cabinetry, and a dedicated bar for entertaining. The result was so beautiful and livable that they stayed on for a few more years to fully enjoy it.
